The ideal candidate is a qualified corporate lawyer who aligns with the vision of the company. He should know the ins and outs of corporate law in order to uphold the company’s reputation on a legal front. Also he should be an expert in negotiation and communication in order to be able to provide sound legal advice.
Objectives of this role
• Provide legal advice that complies with regulatory laws, keeping in mind the needs of the company
• Ensure that the company avoids all kinds of legal risks and violations with the right corporate law services
• Evaluate ongoing and potential projects for the company and ensure that it adheres to corporate law stipulations
• Continually learn the dynamic changing laws and regulations of the corporate law on a national and international scale
Full Description
Job Responsibilities
• Curate and review legal paperwork and documentation that protect and support the company’s interests while adhering to corporate compliance laws
• Improvise and oversee the company policies on legal affairs periodically
• Guide the management team and stakeholders on the legal directions to take
• Undertake and perform in-depth legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions depending on the project assigned to him by the senior legal counsel
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university
• Expertise in commercial law, corporate and business law
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a law firm
• Proficiency and fluency in Arabic, English and French
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate law
