Sales Representative - Freight Forwarding

Job Summary:

Generate new business opportunities, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and promote our logistics and shipping services to customers in need of efficient and reliable freight forwarding solutions.

Full Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue potential clients within the target market, including manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring the growth of the company's customer base.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their unique logistics needs.

• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, and land transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and supply chain management.

• Conduct presentations, negotiate pricing, and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

• Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth implementation of services and meet client expectations.

• Track sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to report on achievements and areas for improvement.

• Ensure clients’ needs are met post-sale, addressing any issues that may arise during the shipping process.


Qualifications and Education requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of international shipping, customs, and logistics processes.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
